Stylish Apres-Ski Outfits: Look Fabulous From the Slopes to the Lodge

After living in Europe the past couple years I see 'Apres Ski' in a whole new light. European ski culture in the Alps? They just do it right.

After a long day on the slopes, it’s time to unwind and enjoy some apres-ski fun. Whether you're heading to the lodge for a hot drink or out for a casual evening, transitioning from your ski gear to a chic apres-ski outfit is key. When heading to your apres ski destination you aren't always going home for a complete reset first, so here's some tricks, for stylish outfit ideas & standout pieces that will transition you straight from the slopes.

1. Retro Vibes: Start with the basics

Retro ski suits have been all over the slopes, but since we're talking apres here, upgrade your base layer! Just take off your outer layer and bam you're ready. Think of it as your summer dress for ski season. Just throw it on with your favorite accessory and head out the door. We loved Lain Snow's base layers! Last year I wore their Black Diamond on our ski trip to the Dolomites. Keep your favorite cable knit sweater near by to stay on trend, double up on warmth & coziness!

Hot Tip! Keep the vintage vibes going and pair it with our Retro Ski Beanie!

2. Faux Fur: Versatile two in one

Faux fur is really having a moment. After spending all day with your helmet on, let your hair out! When it comes to keeping warm and stylish, a versatile headband is a perfect choice. Our Cream Apres-Ski Headband & Brown Apres-Ski Headband offer the best of both worlds. With its reversible design you can wear the chic fuzzy fleece side out, or the cute trendy 'APRES' side out. Two options, two vibes, both warm & stylish.

3. Head to Snow: Boots!

A girls favorite accessory, but make it a snow version. Nothing will feel better than getting those stiff ski boots off, but nothing feels worse than freezing toes! So my advice here would be to invest in warmth & comfort. The last thing you'll want to be doing is lacking in those two departments after a day on the slopes.

Final tips!

Accessories: Don’t forget the power of accessories to complete your apres-ski look. I know we mentioned some headwear above but not only do they chic up your outfit, they'll also help conceal helmet hair!! The ultimate winter season hack. Shop our winter hat collection here

Layers: Layer smartly, opt for layers that can easily be adjusted as you transition from outdoor activities to indoor relaxtion

Comfort and Style: Aim for an outfit that combines comfort with fashion, ensuring you feel good and look great during your apres-ski time.

With these outfit ideas and a few standout products, you’re set to enjoy your apres-ski moments in style and coziness. Whether you're heading for hot chocolate in the lodge or out for drinks with friends, these pieces will keep you looking chic and feeling comfortable.
