Imperfect Hats

Every hat is handwoven, so no two are ever the same.

Most of that variation is the point — it's what separates a hat made by hand from one made by a machine. But at the end of every season there's a small stack that didn't quite clear our final check. A weave that wandered. A stitch that sat proud. A brim that came out a touch softer than its sisters.

None of it changes how a hat wears, packs, or shades you on a long afternoon. It's just the difference between very good and the standard we put our name on at full price.

Rather than let them sit in a box, we send them out here — twice a year, when the season turns over.

What to expect: every hat is photographed as-is where we can, but flaws vary from piece to piece, so treat the images as representative rather than exact. Sizes are whatever's left. When they're gone, they're gone until the next drop.
