Where French Polynesia Meets the Mediterranean: Our Brand shoot & stay at Lovango, USVI

Every year my team & I search for the most stunning locations to bring collection to life. That's how we happened to find Lovango.

There are places you visit, then there are places that instantly feel cinematic, like the world has painted a backdrop just for you. Lovango Resort & Beach Club, just off the coast of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, is exactly that. When we arrived to shoot our latest brand collection, it was clear this wasn’t just a location. It was the co-star.

 When we arrived on Lovango’s ferry, the island greeted us with literal butterflies and rainbows, the kind of arrival you daydream about during months of planning. Our team, however, was not quite as picture-perfect. After all the excitement leading up to this shoot, only two of our four team members actually made it to the island due to winter illness. So, consider this a massive shoutout to our significant others, who jumped in without hesitation and helped make this entire production come to life

A Destination That Feels Like Two Worlds in One

Lovango is unlike anywhere else in the Caribbean (that I've seen). Imagine being immersed in nature serenity of French Polynesia, paired with the effortless, sun-washed charm of the Mediterranean. It’s a blend of wellness-focused calm, barefoot luxury, and sun-soaked beauty.

Wake up in a treehouse that feels straight out of Tahiti. Spend the afternoon under colorful umbrellas that whisper of Capri.

The staff made everything feel effortless, welcoming us with genuine warmth throughout our stay. 

It’s the dream combination we didn’t know we needed, and couldn’t fully grasp until we shot here ourselves.

The Perfect Backdrop for a Brand Story

Every corner of Lovango felt intentionally crafted for visual storytelling.

• Turquoise water so clear it looked retouched in real time, I almost had to dim the blue in Lightroom during editing!

• Organic texture & architecture stucco, arches, earthy fabrics, tropical landscaping, perfect for highlighting the natural raffia & straw details of our headwear.

• Natural rock formations and flourishing hillsides that bring depth, warmth, and a sense of wanderlust to any frame.

• Room interiors that let the pieces speak for themselves (photos below!!)

Shooting here made every outfit feel elevated & effortless. Which I've never been more thankful for since I had to do almost all the modeling myself!

Private Beach Moments
Snorkeling here? Absolutely insane. Crystal-clear waters, dramatic rock formations, views of lush, uninhabited islands, and perfectly curated cabanas—this spot is a 10/10. Every moment felt like a secret slice of paradise.

ATV Rides
An unexpected delight! The climb to the overnight accommodations is steep, which makes the location feel even more iconic. The ATVs were not only super convenient, but also added an extra layer of fun and adventure to the stay.

Breakfast
If you know, you know. Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start a day full of shoots and island exploration.

Beach Club
After moving back to the East Coast from Italy, we’ve been craving a proper beach club experience. Lovango delivered in sun, sand, and the perfect relaxed energy.

Infinity Pool
May or may not be the best seat in the house. Overlooking everything we love about this side of the island, the infinity pool was equal parts serene and inspiring.

Dining Under Open Skies
Every meal felt like a masterpiece. From casual bites to elevated dinners, the open-air settings and attention to detail made every dining experience unforgettable.

Lovango’s boutique layout is a dream—curated small brands (hello, us!) and even some exclusive collaborations with the resort itself. Perfect for finding unique treasures and souvenirs.

Our collection was designed around movement, texture, and the feeling of wandering somewhere beautiful (and beachy), so capturing it on this island's paradise made every piece & vision truly come alive.

A truly unique paradise that’s just a couple of hours from the East Coast. We’re still amazed by how many experiences existed within one resort, it was many places in one.
